What Happened to You Man? You Used to Be Cool Pt.1

It's a question that has puzzled mankind since the beginning of it's existence. Is the concept of coolness something that someone is born with, or is said coolness acquired over time? For musicians, it seems like their innate hipness gets lost with every wrinkle they get and terrible record they put out.Obviously, there are some who are maintain their coolness even when they're reaching their golden years, and in some cases in death. Still there are some iconic artists who were amazing in their heyday, but now are just as cool as the guy in your grandma's old folks home who drools incessantly and talks to coffee filters.

Bono

Bono, also known as Paul David Hewson, is the vocalist for arguably the biggest band on the planet, U2. The four piece from Ireland have been around since 1976 and have released landmark records such as 1980's Boy, 1983's War,and 1987's The Joshua Tree. Since then Bono has been known for his image rather than his musical content.Tragically hip with slicked backed hair and purple tinted shades, he's dedicated his life to helping those less forturnate worldwide while giving off a certain smugness that only a special kind of arrogance can muster.Today, Bono is primarily known for releasing god-awful music and being the face of a charity product line that spent more money on marketing than actual charity.

pretty fucking cool
